A boutique farm nestled among the outskirts of Kansas City

Our beef comes from Northeast Kansas, Pagel & Son Farm where raising beef cattle has been in the family for generations. Raising the highest grade of beef is something that comes naturally after shaping their ranching methods to achieve the best of the best.

Our meat turkeys arrived at The Saltbox Farm when they were just days old. Together with our daughters, we have cared for these turkeys and watched them become a part of our farm. They roam with our horses in the pasture by day and we close them in from predators at night. With a combination of pasture grazing and protein supplement made by our local Baldwin Feed Store, these turkeys are going to be plump, juicy and delicious just in time for Thanksgiving!

Agricultural experiences for the whole family. Our farm is open for your event- we can host outdoor concerts, weddings, gatherings, youth day on the farm, and photo shoots with our Highland herd or other farm animals.
